It’s playtime!

Do you play in your daily life? What says “playtime” to you?

I will continue today with my 2025 resolutions. This year, as I mentioned yesterday, I will focus on doing things that are fun. I aim to do things that make me happy and make me laugh. I know that I do some of those things already, but I feel there’s room for improvement in this area. It’s playtime!

To start off, I love games: board games, video games, word puzzles, strategy games, you name it. So, I don’t need to be convinced to add a little fun to my routine. Due to our busy lives though, I have spent time on playing games that finish quickly. I usually do Wordle every day. And since I’m already there, I also do the The Mini crosswords and Connections. Actually, I think it will be fun if I share my results for today!

Playing with Thomas

In addition, as a proud cat parent, I also spend some time daily playing with Thomas. He loves to chase the laser tag. And he also likes to play with anything that is hanging, my backpack straps, for example. So we use those teaser wands with little toys on the end, like a bird. It’s fun to see him having fun!

In any case, it’s time to add a little more adventure to my days. And I intend to do it this year. I have plenty of games at home, and luckily some of them you can play by yourself. What I mean to say is, I don’t need to be bothering anyone to play with me. I can go and have fun just by myself, if I want it.

Have you played any of those games I mentioned? What says “playtime” to you? Leave that in the comments!
