EmpathyXchange

Come up with a crazy business idea.

Welcome to EmpathyXchange, the app that can change your view of the world!

When was the last time that you had the opportunity to walk in someone else’s shoes? I don’t mean this figuratively, but literally. With this new service, you can trade your life with someone else for a day. It can also be a week or even a month. The duration depends on the agreement between both parties. The goal is to promote more empathy between human beings, something the world needs a lot lately.

How it works

Here is the process: first, create a profile in our app. Second, fill in as much information as you can about yourself and your routine. Then our AI powered algorithms will find a match for your case.

A case study

For example, it can choose a mom with three kids to trade life with the CEO of a pharmaceutical company. The said mom in her current role ensures her home works like clockwork. She wakes early in the morning, and prepare breakfast for a battalion. Then she kisses her kids goodbye. A the same time, she makes sure they are clean and neat for school. Additionally, she is the caretaker of her husband’s aging father. She manages the bills of the house. For this reason, she knows the impact medical expenses have on the average middle class family. Even with economic issues out of her control, galloping inflation, scandalous mortgage rates, she needs to make ends meet. It’s a wonderful opportunity for the CEO to exercise his administrative skills with the salary of an average worker.

On the other hand, she will have an opportunity to engage in shareholders meetings. She will also attend business lunches with clients. Finally, she will have a multi-billion budget to manage. This is a win-win situation. Both parties will be capable of understanding the other side better.

Other interesting pairings that the app can suggest:

  • Politicians, community leaders or policy makers and their constituents, or even immigrants, all from different socio-economic backgrounds;
  • Managers, board members and their subordinates, entry-level employees, or customers;
  • Relatives like parents and teens, siblings or spouses;

What are you waiting for to join EmpathyXchange? Who did you want to exchange your life with? Or what other cases would you like to see? Leave that in the comments!
