What are your biggest challenges?
New Year is always a time of introspection and renewed purposes to me. It’s a chance to start anew. It’s also a time of celebration and forgiveness, for others, and more importantly, for myself. Certainly I didn’t get to achieve everything that I planned last year. But all of this is in the past now. It’s time to evaluate the present and look into the future with hope and optimism. Here’s to a New 2025!
Keeping things simple
As many other people do, I usually start the year with a list of resolutions. As expected, resolutions bring challenges. And something that I learned is that I can not try to do everything at once. It will only get me frustrated when I realize I will only finish a fraction of it. So this year, I wanted to keep things simple and focus in only one resolution for the year. A catch-all determination. If other purposes come along the way, they will contribute to the main one.
The pursuit of happiness
It is so easy to get distracted about so many things: work, family, study. This year I wanted to do something good for me. If you are not well, how will you manage all the other demanding aspects of your life? This involves considerations about well-being, mental health, and relationships. This year I’d like to pause and think about what would make me happy. And hopefully I will get to share this happiness with other people around me. So there you go, this year I want to do things that will make me and people around me happy.
What about you? Do you have a big list of resolutions? Or are you with me and trying to keep things simple? Leave that in the comments!
I wish you a happy and blessed New Year! I hope it will be filled with laughter and joy! Let’s jump head on to a New 2025!

First off, Happy New Year to you and Thiago. Hope all your goals are reached this year. I like to keep things simple. I do not make resolutions because odds are I won’t keep them. It’s day to day. I could try and lose a few pounds and be kind if anything. We’ll see how it goes. Onward into 2025.
Happy New Year, Amy!
I wish you have a prosperous year and accomplish whatever your heart desires!
